Trail Cleanup Info

Hey guys!

Get ready for an awesome day in the woods—Cleanup on the Rocks is happening Saturday, March 14 in the beautiful Talladega National Forest, and it's completely FREE! This is our one COTR event that's open to EVERYONE—no matter what you drive. Unlike our usual 100s, 200s, and 300s exclusives, this one's for the whole community, so bring whatever rig you've got (or come without one—we're just happy to have you!). It's also family-friendly, so bring the whole crew—kids, friends, everyone is welcome!

We're really excited to hit the trails together, clean things up, and then kick back with great food, cold drinks, and some epic prizes. Who's in?

We'll kick things off around 9 a.m. at the southern end of the forest (about 15 miles east of Sylacauga, AL). Grab your gloves and trash bags—we'll head out in groups (or solo if that's your vibe) to tidy up those trails. We've got trail leaders ready to guide folks, but feel free to team up with your crew too!

Plan to roll back in around 4 p.m. for the real fun:

  • 4:00–5:30 p.m. — Meet & greet with snacks, soft drinks, and ice-cold beer

  • 5:30 p.m. — Dinner served hot off the smoker (we've got that bad boy fired up!)

  • After dinner → Drumroll... the prize drawing! Every driver gets free tickets to throw on the goodies—just like our classic COTR raffles. Then stick around, hang out, sip some brews, and enjoy the good vibes!

The crew (including me!) will be camping at the meetup spot from Friday through Sunday. We'll get the smoker rolling around noon Friday and keep it going strong—come join us early if you're around! Bring a chair, crack open a cold one (or a soda), and chill by the fire. Saturday night after the drawing, we'll keep the party going with more laughs and cold drinks. Camping's dispersed and wide open, so come for the day or stay the whole weekend—no pressure!

Quick heads-up: This is a laid-back, primitive spot—no restrooms, water hookups, or electricity, so pack accordingly (think nature's bathroom and bring your own chair for fireside seating). We've got all the food, water, soft drinks, and beer covered—no need to worry about that! If camping isn't your thing, plenty of hotels and spots are available in nearby Sylacauga.

Free tickets are available NOW on cruisersontherocks.com—grab yours today so we can get a solid head count! Everyone with a ticket will get the exact coordinates emailed the week of the event.

Bonus perk: Just by showing up and attending this event, you'll unlock early registration privileges for Cruisers on the Rockies 3 in Colorado and COTR6 in Tennessee. (Cruisers on the Rocks 2 sold out in less than an hour last year—these events go FAST!) That means guaranteed spots at these always-sold-out adventures—don't miss your chance to lock it in early!

This is going to be such a blast—good people from all over the COTR family, clean trails, killer BBQ, prizes, and zero stress. Can't wait to see your smiling faces (and rigs of every kind!) out there!

See you soon, Lee
