Cruisers on the Rockies

Cruisers on the Rockies is a 3 day, 4 night trail-riding, camping, and social event exclusively for 100, 200, and 300 Series Land Cruisers and the Lexus LX held in Silverton, Colorado. 

We are taking everything that makes Cruisers on the Rocks so much fun and moving it out west! Cruisers on the Rockies will be held at the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area in Silverton, Colorado. The Kendall Mountain Recreation Area is at the base of beautiful Kendall Mountain and features a huge lodge and meeting facility surrounded by a large field for camping. The lodge has plenty of space inside for our group breakfasts, dinners, and raffle plus a huge wraparound deck that we will use for activities and the Welcome Party. The deck looks out over a field where primitive camping will be provided for all attendees Wednesday-Sunday. Travel trailers, RTTs, and ground tents are all welcome at the event. From the Recreation Area it's only a 1-minute drive or 5-minute walk to downtown Silverton, making it super easy to explore the historic city or find supplies or groceries at Silverton Hardware or Silverton Grocery.

 We have several group activites planned for the evening after trail runs and will be adding more closer to the event. Current planned group activites include:

 Along with all the group activities at Cruisers on the Rockies, we will also have guided trail rides leaving out each morning. We will be offering a choice from around 12 different runs each day, giving everyone the opportunity to experience the world famous trails while also learning proper trail etiquette and Tread Lightly practices.

Online trail signups will open in June.

A hot breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, including coffee, juice, or water will be cooked every morning at the lodge for everyone. Evening meals with soft drinks and cold beer will be provided every night except Thursday. We want to take Thursday night to encourage everyone to go out and spend a little money in Silverton, either trying one of the awesome restaurants or picking up groceries from town and cooking at camp. Lunches will be on your own. You will need to pack a lunch and snacks for most guided trail runs although some runs will include the oppurtunity to grab a bite in Telluride, Ouray, or Lake City. 

Description of Cruiser on the Rockies Tickets 

• Event registration is capped at 100 trucks 
• Cruisers on the Rockies Driver Tickets are for 1 driver and 1 truck. The Driver Ticket includes a swag bag (Event T-Shirt, Event Sticker, Event Patch and more!), 1 General Raffle ticket, 1 Targeted Raffle ticket, 4 nights of primitive camping in the event area, access to Welcome Party Cookout, Potluck Night, BBQ Dinner Saturday night, all group activities, and guided rides.
• Active and Retired Military, 1st Responders and Law Enforcement use code SERVICE10 for a 10% discount on Driver Tickets
• Your Cruisers on the Rockies registration guarantees you early registration for Cruisers on the Rockies II in 2025 AND COTR4 this October at Windrock.
• Cruisers on the Rockies Guest Tickets are for guests attending, camping or riding with a registered driver. A Guest Ticket will include 4 nights of primitive camping in the event area with the driver, access to Welcome Party Cookout, Potluck Night, BBQ Dinner Saturday night, and all group activites.
• 1 additional General Raffle ticket and 1 additional Targeted Raffle ticket may be purchased by each driver. Please DO NOT add more than 1 of each ticket to your cart. 100% of the raffle proceeds will go towards the COTR Trail Cleanup Day planned for Spring 2025 (Date and Location TBD)
• Children 5 and under do not need a Guest Ticket.

*Full refunds will ONLY be available up to 30 days prior to event. Due to event expenses, refunds will not be processed after June 24, 2024.
